Max boost on non-sleeved block?
Hey, I was wondering what is the maximum boost I could run on a B18C1 block without re-sleeving it? I would put lower compression pistons and stronger rods in the block. Is 350 whp achievable without resleeving? Thanks!

A block guard does not strengthen the sleeves, it just keeps them from floating around. They could still expand under boost.

450 to the wheels should be no problem if your tuned properly (dfi, haltech, speed pro, motec) and the rest of the block is done right. more than that is possible, but you might have some problems down the road. i'll be running 450+ to the wheel in the spring on a built block(not-sleeved). we'll see what happens. other people have done it before.
