Default MAP sensor problem, need help

I just turbed my car, and have found out that my missing link was fucked up (fucked up to begin with) so now i have built my little ghetto check valves and have installed it. now when i boost in 1st and 2 and gears its fine, but then when i'm in third and still boosting, the check engine light goes on. im not sure what the problem is. is it because im not using enough check valves?(i got 3 valves goin) or is this is common problem for check valves. oh yeah im running like 6 psi (but then boost creeps up to like 9 or 10 ( i thin beacuse of my wastegate gasket)

but if anyone could help me, that would be great. thanks to all that helped
