i just put my turbo on the other day. its not some nice kit its just a junk yard kit and i got it all to gether and if i get on it alot the check engine light comes on and it say it the map sensor do i need something so it doesnt turn the check engine light on. sorry if this is and stupid question but i just dont know

 

what kind of engine management you got?? are you running check valves??? are you running a mssing link???

 

if you just slapp a turbo on a na car without some sort of engine management or using check valves or a missing link. as soon as your map sensor reads boost it will go into limp mode.

 

please tell me you have some kind of managment

 

Sounds like you need a missing link or check valves. MAP sensor is reading boost throwing the CEL

check valves are ****.so i would recomend getting missing link untile you can get hondata or uberdata. but you should realy get either one instead of using a missing link. but you can get a missing link from importparts.com. it goes under you stock map sensor so it want read boost basically
