damn nice numbers, i wish we could have got the manifold on, oh well we will have a nice before and after now, once we get the iat figured out on 9k's hatch and get a new clutch we retune on higher boost , should be pretty quick

yea it was the tps, no more surge at low throttle either, thanks again for a great tune, well crank the boost and shoot for a retune this weekend if your down

The setup is very basic but important where it counts (decent engine management, good wastegate, nice oil line setup.)

Turbo is a basic T3/T4 60trim .57 ar. Nothing special.
JRC intercooler. (cheap but works well)
DSM BOV.
Tial Wastegate.
Flamenco T oil line kit.
Revhard manifold with a Tig'd wastegate flange.
Precision 780cc injectors (gotta have room to grow ya know ).
Uberdata for engine management.
Action 6 puck dual diaphram clutch.
SMC alcohol injection.

Less than 6k invested including the price of the car.

i have a b18a block with unknown miles. im looking for around 375HP on stock sleeves. i have heard that when engines accumulate alot of miles, the cylinders become slightly mishaped. is boring in this case really neccessary? the walls look fine on my engine. i just dont know how new pistons would react, and if what i have read is true. i am not sure if bored cylinders can take boost without sleeving. help me out

you could probably goto the 1st OS with no problems what people mean by overboring being bad is when people goto like 82, 83 or an insane 84mm on stock sleeves.

if you can find a set of 81.25mm pistons either ls stock or an
aftermarket(suggested) you should be fine with a good tune with reasonable boost say under 10psi (depending on turbo).

depending on buget get a rebore with forged pistons and rods is the way to go without resleeving

Goodluck

P.S. as sated above you can go boost for cheap as long as u dont skimp on the important things like engine management. wastegate and injectors

you can get more out of a semi built engine (pistons and rods) than 10 psi.. **** some guys are runnign 14-15 on BONE stock engines.

engine management is cheap these days... get a set of dsm injectors and get chrome or turbo edit depending on what year your engine is..

dsm injectors: 50
chrome or turboedit + street tuned = 100-300
