Default ls/vtec

If I have a greddy tc on a b16a2 and I want to convert by b16 block to a ls vtec will everything still fit correctly.

Im kinda confused here. If you are going Ls-Vtec you dont even use the b16 block. I think what u are asking is if you are running the LS block will your turbo kit still work on the new block. The answer to that is yes only that thing I recommend doing is dont tap your oil sending unit twice. On my set up we used the oil sending unit for the turbo and we tapped the one of the oil passage ways on the back of the block for the head. You will love the LS-VTEC turbo.

NONONO... I have a b16 engine and in the future if id like to change the bottom end to a ls/vtec will my greddy kit still fit?

LS crank is good. Just make sure you get it balanced. The LS cranks can be off quite a bit.

correct me if im wrong but an ls crank would bump it to 1.8 right, isnt the b16 bore 81.5, it just has a shorter stroke..?

Nope. B16 bore is the same . They are both 81mm. The stroke on the LS crank is longer, therefore it wont work in your B16 block. The B18 blocks are actually a little taller the the B16 blocks. Hope this helps

what about a b17a crank, are the b16 and b17 blocks the same height?
