Which route?
I am fairly new to this forum (FI). I have a b16 EK hatch with about 52k on the motor. I also have a LS block that I got for free and I have the opportunity to get another b16 block dirt cheap. I am not sure if I wanna LS turbo or b16 turbo. I love vtec but I hear LS is the way to go for boost. This car will be driven quite a bit. Confused I guess.

Re: Which route? (Deano_D)
So you have an LS shortblock and a b16 long block, Slap the b16 head on the ls block with some forged internals and a nice turbo combination and you will make more power then your looking for. th eLS your gogn to have to work and crank the boost up, the b16 isnt goign to make much low end, LSVTEC makes good torque and lots of power up top

Man U FTW
LS/VTEC would be a good combo, but you're going to have to do the LS/VTEC and factor that into your budget. I'm not disagreeing w/ the LS/VTEC suggestion that Turbo-LS gave you, but i'm just offering a counterpoint
