It doesn't matter..I got one for $25 at autozone and I checked my compression then returned it within the hour saying that I had a diesel and this thing didn't work for it....like I was the dumbass

edit: If your numbers are low it just means that you have excessive (sp?) blow-by. Its more important to have a strong engine that doesn't leak or have many problems as these problems will be multiplied by the turbo. If they are low and you don't feel like getting your engine rebuilt then make sure everything else is in tip top shape. Anyone else agree with this? I'm saying this so people don't think that if they have good compression that it's OK to turbo and vise versa

ok i was kinda wondering this, and i think this is the thread to ask it in....would running a t3/t4 50 or 54 trim with a .48 turbine a/r be too small for a b18b up around 12-15psi max? this thread opened my eyes to an ls turbo to follow up my stolen d16turbo, and i would be looking to run a t3/t4 with a .48 turbine for quicker spool

I run a T3/T04E on my LS. It's .60 A/R compressor and .48 A/R turbine, 60 trim, stage 3 wheel. I am currently only running 8psi, but I think it's capable of a ton more. I love the quick spool and power of this turbo.

Im running the stock LS tranny (not sure about tranny code) but either way im nto boosted yet.

Im contemplating which turbo to get. Garret T3T4 60 trim .60 a/r compressor/.63 a/r turbine, Or should I go with a .48 turbine?

I want a goal of lower 300hp levels. Im sure the .48 can get me there. But if i ever wanted to go higher the .63 could always go higher.

The .48 should be capable of making your goals...and I think it'll have a quicker spool. I am happy with mine.

tdo5h was slow at upper rpm but unless u get like a tiny *** 14b or something turbos keep making HP anywhere in the rpm range, just how efficient...depends on the trims</TD></TR></TABLE>

Umm, the tdo5H is a 14b and it's bigger than a T-25.

For 300 wheel I would go with the T3T04E 57 trim 63 AR.

as for turbo: t3/to4e .63 turbine, .60 compressor .57 trim.
top end power takes my breath away

as for tranny choice: GSR tranny w/Kazz 1.5way LSD
watch out for my 3rd gear pull!! oh yeah, corners are cake walk as well

You were definately running some slicks on that run if you made a 12.7 pass with those numbers.

Thats just to answer the question right below this statement. Im sure his 60ft time was somewhere below 2.0....

Keep in mind that you have .2-.4 liters more displacement then most of the people here (aside from all those damn prelude and rsx guys with their so called ''torque'')
