I have the Exedy Organic...seems to be holding fine right now...how long it will last and how much Torque it will actually hold is another story.

Then you'd hate being my friend, having to constantly look at my face. I have had no slipping with my clutch to date.

Raceline out here in cincinnati has an Ls turbo in an eg hatch and was running 15 lbs on a stock Ls bottom end for a bit. Finally blew up after weeks of abuse. I'd say after seeing that hatch in person that i'm surprised it didn't blow a lot sooner. If you ran 9 lbs everyday you'd be fine for a while.

I run 14 lbs low/20 lbs high every day, but that's on forged internals.

No sleeves though, just pistons and rods..

Guess I'll post mine.
94 b18B1 in 94 LS! 142k, compression reads 175 across the board.
drag 3 mani t3t4 turbonetics .63 A/R 54 trim. tial 38 mm wastegate, spearco 27" IC, HKS ssqv BOV, DSM 450's, walbro 255lph pump, 2.5" high flow cat, with 2.5" DP, and 2.5" tanabe catback exhaust, all running with uberdata. spring is for 7.25 psi, got a MBC, gonna turn it up to 10psi after its tuned at 7. Can't wait to get that wideband plugged in, with the laptop sitting next to me just readin ****. haha... I don't think I missed anything, I think the motor should make some good power. what do you all think? the turbo/mani setup made 314 WHP on a b16A with 14 psi, tuned with hondata. I'm hoping to make near 250 WHP at 10 psi.

It's irrelevant to refer to how much boost an engine can handle without knowing what size turbo and how well the engine is tuned. A small t25 won't flow as much cfm into the engine as a larger turbo like a T04E. Please don't generalize saying an engine can only handle x amount of boost. Stoopid tuned an LS a while back that made 293 whp on 20 psi. The naysayers of course said "you can't run 20 psi on a stock block". It took a while for people to grasp the concept of cfm. Anyway, it sounds like the engine that blew wasn't properly tuned/maintained. I've been running 16 lbs dynoed at 306whp for about 7 months now, everyday, plenty of trips to redline, and maybe around 40-45 passes at the track all on high boost, pump gas, stock block/head. It shows no signs of giving up either. Keep the tune conservative and stay on top of maintenence and it will last.

I actually made that run on a previous tune with about 315hp

I am using an extreme PP and 6-Puck unsprung disk.

Great post, pretty informative about how motors handle psi differently.

I'm assuming this was on slicks? If so what was your 60 ft?

I use a Thermal R&D 3" Turbo catback. I have a custom 3" downpipe, no cat. I love it.

Exactly...here's a good link to some Boosted LS's...check out the hatchback with the B18b making 300WHP+ on stock internals and what the tuner had to say.

I am running a T3/T4E 50trim, Legendboy's equal length manifold/3" downpipe/intercooler, Tial BOV/WG .5bar, Uberdata (untuned), Precision 550cc, Greddy Profec B Spec 2, Stock clutch (thinking of getting on that Exedy Cerametallic clutch deal). Putting in the ARP studs this weekend.

Hoping to run 7-8 psi daily. (230-250hp?)

The hatch your referring to is mine. Once I finish up my other car, I'm heading back to the dyno to push the limits. Surely I'll post up the results. Tonystarks' car made 300whp on only 8psi. That just goes to show how a well put-together and efficient setup can perform. Props to the tuner and everyone making awesome numbers on stock blocks.

I have a stock LS with the drag turbo kit and hondata I pulled 251 HP & 227 TQ @ 10 PSI, and 11.5:1 A/F to be extra safe and very conservative ignition at 4400 ft above see level. I just got a 3 bar and I will tune to 12.5 PSI on pump gas and 15-16 PSI on race fuel. hoping for 285+. we'll see, I currently run high 12's on slicks @ 11 PSI. I'm going out tomorrow I'll try to be back with better numbers.

Inline Pro Manifold
Precision SC 50
Tial 35mm Wastegate
Turbo XS RFL BOV
Custom Downpipe
Thermal Exhaust (Straight, no cat or resonator)
RC 550 Injectors
Presicion "Medium" Intercooler
"JC Whitney" Piping
Hondata s200b
Greddy Profec B Spec II
Walbro 255

Made 230 whp and 197 wtq @ 8.5 psi back in November. Now I am running 11-12psi but haven't gone back to the dyno.
