LS Turbo Rebuild, Motorola 2.5 MAP Sensor, MAP CEL 5
I've finally got my rebuild done and turbo installed. I can start the car, but after it varies the idle, I go into limp mode and get a CEL 5. I've got a Moto 2.5 MAP sensor and I'm getting 1.7v on the signal wire at 0 vacuum and 5v on the number 3 pin. Any ideas what could be causing the CEL? Vacuum leak perhaps? Please help out if you can, she's been down since March and I'm ready for boost!
BTW, here's my setup:
LS motor
Eagle Rods
9.2:1 SRP pistons, stock bore
RC550s
Walbro 255 in-tank
Precision SC50
Tial BOV and WG
Chrome
TIA

are you able to get it to idle steady for a few seconds? If so what does vac read? It should be around 20 in/hg. If not then you may have a leak.

Re: LS Turbo Rebuild, Motorola 2.5 MAP Sensor, MAP CEL 5 (SOHC_MShue)
Thanks for the reply. When it's in limp mode, the vacuum reads about 17 inHg. Should it be higher? I've got all the vacuum hoses clamped off. Any other vacuum areas that might not be obvious? Gaskets?
