Default Lost BOOST

I have a greddy turbo kit on my 2000 gsr. At first I was running no intercooler. It was at 8 psi. Today I put the intercooler on and no I am struggling to reach 5 psi. I tried adjusting the lever on the wastegate and it still doesn't work. I also pulled the hose off the wastegate and it still does the same thing. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

there is a pressure drop with the i/c but i don't think it should be as much as 3 psi. as far as the actuator i don't think it is adjustable and pulling the vacuum line on it would keep the flapper closed. the first thing i would do is check for any leaks in your piping.

Could the actuator be broken or something? I'm going to double check the piping again right now.

For diagnostics, remove what was added 1st. Then see if it works.

Specifically to test for leaks, use soapy water around all of your piping seals.

Also did U test your intercooler for leaks ? Plug both end pipes & submerge into water.
