JE 9.5:1 B18B pistons in a B18C5 question....
Will these work out ok? I'm wondering if there is going to be valve relief issues because of the different heads... any other ideas/problems?
Thanks
Thanks

If they make 9.5 in a straight ls motor, it will be approx 9.7 or so in a b18c5. With the stroke of the b18c5, compression is decreased, However, with the smaller CC of the b18c5 head, the compression will increase. Overall, it will be around 9.7 copmression in a full b18c5 longblock.

Your valves may be larger than the valve pockets, but even so, it shouldn't interfere unless you use some wacky cam sprocket settings.
