Default Intercooler predicament

Just picked up a spearco to replace my ebay cooler.

I noticed late that the 2in inlet and 2.5in outlet are on opposite sides.

Would it be very bad to run it as-is with 2.5in inlet 2in outlet?

Cant flip it or turn it around bcuz the in/outlets are slightly offset.

Id like to avoid modifying and welding if possible but if its going to be a real problem I will

yes. turn it around, you're fine. 2" inlet, 2.5" outlet to the intake pipe.

My piping might not go on. The in/outlets point towards the engine a bit. If I turn it around they will point towards the bumper

Ok I guess im just gonna do it right and pull all the lower piping and find the best way to modify the setup for a clean and simple fit. Ill post pics of whatever cutting/welding I figure out. Ill have to get it done before work, during breaks, and at lunch so the project might be tedious.
