WHICH INTERCOOLER?
How do you select one? There seems to be alot of people making big power on JRC (cheap) and some making about the same on the more expensive brands. Whats the deal?
You should try to calculate yer CFM requirements ie: rpm engine capacity Boost level and select one that easily exceeds your requirements. This usually means a Decent quality (expensive) unit .. anything less is just a guess and usually wrong.
sadly Hp claims are wildly exaggereated and often abetted by Brochure Babble serious inaccurate dynos and just old fashioned 'look at me' Bullshit :-)

I have a stock h22 running about 5-6 lbs. on a borg warner t3/t04e .63/.70.. 2.5" downpipe to 3" piping. Never had it dynoed, but I'm guessing it's around 220-230whp.
I can run the car for an hour with a lot of boosting and when I get out and feel the intercooler, the inlet side is hot and the outlet side is cool to the touch, so I've been really happy with the IC so far.
