Default how much hp do you gain with fmic?

how much hp do you gain with a good fmic? i am run a t-3 with 10psi on a b16a.

There really isnt a good answer to this question. the intercooler does add hp by lowering intake temps but it also alows for more boost because you can cool down the hotter air from being more compressed....I would strongly suggest running some sort of intercooler i think everyone here will agree...I just made a custom water sprayer setup to "cool" my IC down today im gonna post a write up even though i dont really know if it even helps haha..we basically did it cuz we were bored and it sounded fun

at the same boost level, you do not "gain" power. What the fmic does is prevent heat soak, allowing the power the car is currently making to stay consistant. If you had a rinky-dink side mount intercooler say off a 1.8t vw, and then swapped it out for a 24x12x3 fmic you would see not only lower intake temps but greater consistency of power off the line from stoplight to stoplight, as well as under high load in a high gear.

Yup

It gives you about a 1% increase of your total power for every 10° you drop your intake charge temp.

It also lower the chance of pre-ignition/detonation allowing you up the boost for even more power.
