Think its safe to run 2 255hp's in series up to 100psi max in boost?

I think (2) 255's inline will be good for more pressure than 100psi. That was the old school way of turboing cars. In tank pump and inline pump with an FMU raising pressure at a 12:1 ratio. Pumps in series can do a lot of pressure.

How much pressure can you run/buid thru stock lines on 525cc?
and how much flow can you get at that pressure?

You can see that with 80-90psi base pressure you can get significantly more power out of these than you can at 43.5psi. I'd take these with a high pressure system over 1600's any day of the week! Obviously at some point you'll either need 8 of these or 4 1600s, but i think 750whp is a reality with these at high pressures. I think the weldon D2015 is the pump to do it with too. We have this setup in the works for a Supra we're doing with a BW S374R, we'll see how far we can go with it. It's still on a stock motor so hopefully it doesn't let go first. lol

I am so totally sold to these injectors. So basically at idle you would be sitting at 70psi and then at full power they would be at 100psi and still run safe, correct? Wiring back the wires form the resistor box to the harness is pretty simple correct? T1

um im gonna guess you have the wrong idea, why would you want 70psi at idle?

Any longterm reliability issues with cranking the fuel pressures up to 100 PSI? I am always nervous about injectors crapping out at anything above 80 PSI, but how do these injectors withstand elevated fuel pressures (100PSI range)?

What does base pressure mean then?

its about the pressure drop across the injector, that's why we use 1:1 regulators.

vacuum in the intake manifold tries to suck more fuel out of the injector, pressure tries to keep the fuel from coming out. so if you have a base pressure of 70, then add 30lbs of boost, you now have 30psi in the intake manifold trying to stop the fuel so even though the pressure guage says 100, the injector flows as if there 70psi... basicly anyway.

How much pressure can a single Walbro 255 put out reliably?

Got the Boschs installed and running today, love them so far but the car is still stock

Tony ships the injectors with wiring clips, pins, and the rubber insulators.

I plan on running 4 of these initially at 80 psi base pressure at a minimum regulated 16 volts.. When that isnt enough, I'll phase in the second set via my own secondary injector driver circuit..

So i assume these injectors should not have any idling @ 750 rpm issues ? Im currently running rc 750 cc @ 460 whp and they are maxed out . These injectors look very promising ! Its a toss up between precision 880cc injectors or these bad boys . Of course i would not need the resistor box which is very nice, but tuning may take more time with these versus the 880 injectors . Input is appreciated ! Tony1 ?

I think i single walbro is done around 80psi.

The only pressure that matters on the injector is the base pressure, but the fuel pump needs to be able to handle that plus whatever boost you're running.

from my experience the precision 880's respond very similar to the precision 1000's. if i had to guess you would probably save time with the bosch 1000's over either of the precision/rc 880/1000 units.

one day last week i did a car with 880's and 1000's back to back. both cars had the "lean pop" at anything leaner than 13.2-13.5. i think i actually sent tony a message when i was on the dyno wishing i had his new injectors lol.

There is no comparison. These will idle 100 times better than the 880's. Tuning will take less time as well because the output is more linear. A linear output is important because when you add 10%, you really want to add 10% not 7% or 13%.

Thanks turbo-charged and tony1 . I suppose i will be purchasing these Bosch injectors then . Do they come ready to drop in ? Also i assume they will fit an oe fuel rail ? How much can i expect to pay for these ?

Oh man, I would love to run these but I dont think my Aeromotive A1000 can produce that kind of psi.
