I don't have a flow bench. I know that the reason these injectors flow more on gasoline than on a test fluid has to do with the viscosity of the fuel.
However, from everything i've done so far, in the real world, they seem to run right about the same duty cycles/power as i've seen with RC 1000's.
Can someone with a test bench flow RC 1000's with gasoline and test fliud and see if the difference applies the same on that injector?
Is it possible the different internals of these injectors respond differently to different viscosity of liquids? That would make sense of the real world results i've seen vs. the test results you've seen.

I had my RC1000's flowed by KG parts (Injector Clinic) a few months ago and they flowed 1000cc's (lol) according to them, not sure what fluid/psi they used though, I have the sheet somewhere I will try to find it.
A set of delphi 1000CCs flow 1000CC on test fluid and about 1150CC on C16..
RC injectors generally suck overall. But I'll talk to my friend and see if he can get a set tested.

Maybe so, I haven't used a delphi 1000cc injector in a long time as it's one of the worst 1000's i've ever used. They define poor atomization. The RC's atomize much better, though are definitely not any better injector in the big picture, i've seen more RC failures than delphi.
Maybe this is why i've seen some delphis advertised as 1150cc injectors in the past. I never looked into it much because I didn't care.
At the end of the day, these flow 1000cc/min of fuel and are sufficient to suit 90% of the worlds goals. If the 1000cc isn't enough, crank the pressure up and make it happen. The high pressure capability of these is a huge advantage that most other injectors on the market can't do.

Yea, not trying to bust your ***** over it, just wondering why they were labeled 1000CC when they would be typically considered 880CC to rest of the injector world.. But whatever, if they do the trick then #$%^ it lol... So you gonna be at IFO houston?? If so I'll be sure to come hassle you like I always do lol..
thanks Tony for a great injector!
I purchased 3 sets of injectors and will be ordering more. In fact...probably be using these exclusively for all my builds!

intrigued by the injectors. only thing that concerns me is selecting the closest matching injector in my sm4. i assume you help the tuner make the proper selection?

I would think that if they were marketed as an 880 and Tony or other distributors had to explain why it actually flowed comperable to a 1000cc unit they would want to pull their hair out by the days end lol
Most 880s will flow 1000CC on gas. On standard test fluid they will flow like 880 or so..
Burgermass, I will be running in Houston this weekend. Tested yesterday with the new PPG gearset and it's good to go.
That's one of the shitty things about Autronic, they think they know what you need more than you do. Unfortunately, as far as I know, you can only choose from preset injector dead time tables. That being the case, you'll have to pick the closest you can find and roll with it.

Tony can you post a dyno of the s2k when you are done tuning it. I will be picking these up for my s2000 turbo setup.
I just talked to chris at xenocron about tuning my setup with these injectors and an AEM EMS. If you could help us out when the time comes that would be great! Or after you tune post up anything you find interesting about tuning with these and an AEM EMS.
Also, what mods need to be done to these injectors to fit a stock s2000 fuel rail and Intake Manifold?

I'll post up the dyno sheets when that car is done.
Chris won't need help with these injectors, there's nothing to them. There will be nothing interesting to report other than how well the car runs.
Get with Chris on the mods required, I already filled him in on it.

I bought a set of the Bosch 1000cc injectors from Tony. I finally got to start up my car last night, and let me tell you it took less than 5 minutes to get these injectors to idle right where I wanted them. So far I'm super pleased with it. Get some miles on it, then it will be time to hit the dyno with Tony.
What AFR? I idle around 14.0 on the corn with just a random pop every now and then with my RC's at 900-1000rpm. Granted when its cold out (30's) I cannot say the same thing.
i wish i could get these put in my s2k already..im getting ancy.
damnit, would someone please get me aem ems? please? lol.
they are just sitting here in the nightstand waiting to be put in. ugh. i cant even wire them up because im going to need to start the car before it gets tuned.

In most applications these will start to misfire around 18:1 or leaner. Had an ITR on the dyno today with them, was nice and smooth at idle until 21:1 a/f ratio. lol
Seems the direction of this thread has gone to focusing on FLOW...when they are so many other properties of an injector are more important.
Let's ask questions like:
1) What is the MAX flow rate of these Bosch 1000s at the max fuel pressure acheived versus say an RC 1000?
2) Does the set of injectors you are currently running flow the same at 2ms, 4ms, 6ms, 8ms, & 10ms? (all at the same psi)
3) What are the atomization properties of the injector you are running at a normal base fuel pressure? (40 psi) Does the atomization increase, decrease or stay the same if you increase base fuel pressure?
In any case with the above questions, these Bosch 1000s win versus any standard injector on the market today.
Precision injectors has always been called "1000s" when their part# and flow rating is 950cc...funny really
If I could be so bold, I am going to say this injector/modification combo is going to be the most significant step forward in our industry this year. People are just starting to learn about them, understand WHY they are far superior than the set on the car who is next to them (and is going to lose) and most importantly, if you are a tuner, and you can get your customer to run these...you are going to LOVE them.
I want to thank Tony for always finding and being part of such innovative technology and advancements in our industry. I feel blessed he likes to chat on the phone, give away his secrets and be such a driving influence in our industry.
Tony1 for president!
If any tuner has doubts about these injectors...they can come to my dyno, I will throw my car on it (running these injectors) and they can throw the EMS of their choice (OBD1) on it and play and see what these injectors can do on a CAR...and then they can buy a set before they leave because they will immediately want to go back and put a set on their own car

I hate to be the 'salesman' type, anyone who knows me knows i'm not like that, i don't bullshit people. If I tell you something is good, it's because I really believe that, not because i'm trying to take your money. I honestly can't say enough good things about these injectors, you just can't understand until you've tuned cars on both these and any other similar sized injector.
I've tuned lots of cars over lots of years. What we've known of fuel injectors up until now has been the 'standard'. Some are better than others, but nothing is leaps and bounds above another. These injectors change the game, leaps and bounds doesn't describe how much better they are.
To put it into terms that are easy to understand. Most of the injectors on the market today were developed in the 70's. These were developed in the early 00's. I think that's the easiest way to describe things. How far has technology come in EVERYTHING in the past 20-30 years? lol
Pair a good injector with proper matching and you've got a winner.
I'll put this out there. I have enough confidence in these to offer a money back guarantee if you're not satisfied with them. Now i sound like an infomercial. lol
