IHI RHB5 VJ11 on B18B1...i know i know
I already have the tiny IHI turbo in my garage, so dont tell me to get a bigger turbo....and i'm mainly looking for response anyway.
questions:
1. How many people have actually ran this turbo on an LS engine? ACTUAL experience...not internet regurgitation.
2. I'll temporarily will be running it non-intercooled, with coolant lines hooked up, with Blox FMU and MAP bypass on OBD2b system. Will there be any major issues with the factory wastegate springload (7 psi i assume)?
Any other input would be apreciated.

The only problem I see is that you will have fuel line/rail pressure of about 110psi. Your injectors and fuel pump might not like that too much, but since you're running an fmu you already knew that, right?

Here is my setup
D16Y8 with ihi rbh5 VJ20
Vafc Hack 440 cc DSM
@7 psi turbo start spooling @ 2700 rpm. and max out some where alittle bit above 4000 rpm.
Your B18 much geater power than my d16y8 so.......are you happy with 2700 rpm spooling?
The reasons that most of turbo people might talk to you to get a bigger one, I think they would like you to get an appropriate good spooling (mid 3000 may be) that will save time and money........
happy boosting..... :-)
