If turbo is leaking a bit===hurt engine?
If my turbo ends up leaking a bit of oil, will this hurt my newly rebuilt engine if I have to drive it that way for a while while I buy a new turbo?

you might get some in your intake runners and in your intercooler. so you would have to clean all of that out.

blue smoke = not good. either
blue smoke would indicate your piston seals are gone to me...but im a turbo newbie.

so if my turbo was infact leaky and I was blowing blue smoke it would not harm my newly rebuilt engine? The only reason I say this is because I am using a turbo that is quite old.
