i have a 00 gsr turbo . fully built bottom end. the turbo is old but i just wanted to ask u guy's when the car starts up there is some smoke not to much but there is some smoke and when i look at the turbo the mouth/ were the intake would go has like black stuff on it like maby oil so .. dos that mean my turbo is going bad or something with my engine?

seals in the turbo. is there shaft play? most likely the turbo needs a rebuild but i would just get a new one
