Default I can't get my turbine housing to budge for the life of me...

Hey guys, I'm trying to install my custom kit today (woohoo) but I need to clock my turbine housing about 1/4 of the way around. I was able to do the compressor side easy but this turbine side is so rigid it feels like it is welded to the center cartridge itself. I have loosened all the bolts and the little brackets are just hanging there. Anyone know if it is supposed to be this hard to turn? I dont have a vice either

I just used a rubber hammer on mine. Sometimes they can be a bitch to budge.

Get some liquid wrench. Saturate the edge between the center housing and the turbine housing. Let it sit for a while.

Repeat.

Now, somehow fit the turbo in a vice, and with the rubber mallet beat the heck out of the turbine housing until it breaks loose. It eventually will. The crap rusts together

Good Lord...I'm just using a 16 oz rubber mallet i bought from O'Reilys about 30 minutes ago. I just bent the damn thing too so now it's ruined. Do they make big *** sledge hammers with rubber ends on it? I may have to try the liquid wrench. I've already sprayed enough WD-40 to ignite Lake Michigan

edit: I just got off the phone with Majestic and he said I gotta use a blow torch...damnit this is aggravating me. I wake my *** up at the crack of dawn to install my kit and I haven't even opened the hood yet

anyway you could turn on th ecar and let it idle so the exhaust gas heats up the turbine?

the reason i'm moving the turbine side in the first place is because my oil drain flanges are not lined up like they need to be...they are east/west rather than north/south. I'm not sure if that would be a good idea or not.

pray that two of the bolts are under the oil in/outlets and then just back the bolt off using them to pry the bearing housing off.. you need to take it off uniformly because you could damage the housing or the blades themselves if it comes off suddenly at an angle

Already tried that, i'm afraid the bolts will strip if I push it even further

Ok, I went so far as to put a 10 foot steel pipe down my compressor housing, and a 10 foot steel pipe down my turbine housing and my friend and I slowly pulled them apart trying to get that turbine housing to twist. All that happened is we ended up rotating the compressor housing even though it was fully bolted down and tightened, which i know wasn't good for it but i dont give a ****.

Basically it comes down to this: i am so ******* PISSED OFF that i am this close [ ] from just saying **** it and post all of my **** for sale right now. DAMNIT
