how much boost on b16a
i have an sir1 motor that i'm turboing with a t3/t04e 60 trim .63 a/r and was wondering what kind of psi anyone has been running on stock internals and headgasket. also how hard is it to change the headgasket and how much could i possibly turn up the boost if i got a thicker headgasket to lower compression?

well depends on how you tune it.
I'm runing .65 bar rite now with stock internals.
my air/fuel ratio is between 12.0 and 12.4 and my timing is retarded about .75 degree per psi.
don't get a thicker head gasket, just learn how to use the compression to your advantage..higher compression will yeild more power per psi.
It's all in tuning, you can blow your engine with 3psi or you can run 12psi with no problems.....tuning is the key...what are you doing for tuning?

Re: how much boost on b16a (b16ahybrid)
Remember your talking thermal vs dynamic efficiency by using a higher compression. Also, you will have more volume with a thicker gasket, which will in turn allow more air and fuel to fill the combustion chamber. More air and fuel equals more power, obviously.

let me know how it runs on 11 psi, 1/4 et and whp? i've heard people runnin 10 psi but not 11. so i'm curious
