Default how much boost on stock internals

Hey guys I am planning on boosting my B16A2 I am going to put in a block guard and a cometic head gasket and drop my compression to 10:1 and a uber chip. How much boost do you think I could run around 10-12 safely?

Ive seen 10+ on stock internals plenty of times, it also depends on the size of the turbo...Tuning is the most important thing

10 psi shouldnt be a problem on a stock motor with the proper fuel and ignition. I ran 10 psi on my Si and no problem at all

Just for Longevity Reasons I would run 10psi max till you have the money to build a motor.. Just incase.. Safely run 7-8psi all day

if you tune it... you can do 10psi. if you have an unreliable fuel setup.. like an fmu and inline... then 7psi is the max i would take it to.

This topic has been beaten to death. If you take the neccessary precautions, you can push stock block well over 400whp on race gas. Thicker headgasket, arp head studs and a block guard are all part of the equation. If you dont have back up shortblocks, and can do your own work just stick to 8-10psi range with larger injectors/fuel pump upgrade and standalone.
