Default how to keep the AIT's lows in traffic

well my ls vtec turbo civic isn't a d.d. But wen i need to use it for work in the bumper to bumper traffic the ait's goes to high. I have my mani,turbo and
intercooler intake pipe wraped. Any advice will help

What exactly are you using to wrap your intercooler piping? What radiator set up are you using?

stock rad and fan, buddy l fan switch 176* and Gate race termostat

You can relocate your IAT sensor to the upper IC pipe, but it's nothing to be concerned with.

yes i know, i leave it in the intake mani. But have the heath wrap in the intake pipe help?

No, wrapping the upper pipe will not make a significant difference in traffic. The heat is coming from the coolant running through the manifold. You can try using a hondata type thermal gasket.

whats the concern? if youre in traffic, you won't need cooler air anyway. youre not making power @ idle
