How do I hook an AVC-R to this wastegate? (pics)
Okay, just like the topic title says. I just got this all today, and I need to know how to hook my AVC-R to this wastegate. That line you see goes to the compressor housing. BTW, it's a Garret GT25 dual ball bearing turbo if that helps.

Should be able to hook the vac line up to your WG actuator just like someone would with an external WG and use the AVCR the same way. Could be wrong though, don't know a whole lot about internally wastegated turbos.

vacuum line to avcr selenoid, then line to that nipple on the internal wastegate, thre are 3 ports on the selenoid. Read the avc-r instructions to see exactly which one is the internal wastegate port. you have 1 port for vacuum, one ofr external gate, one for internal. Just have to read the instructions and follow them.

okay, I think I've got it. I'll read the instructions... I do remember seeing something about switching between the NO port and the COM port on the solonoid, but I think that was for actuator types and wastegate types. Would this be similar to the actuator type? And I just use a vaccum source off the intake manifold for the solonoid, so the nipple on the turbo housing becomes useless... right?

i'll try to dumb this down more.
you will run 1 vacuum line from the intake manifold to the avc-r selenoid. It will go into teh vacuum port of the selenoid. You will then run one line from the avc-r (from the port for internal wastegate (actuator type)) to the nipple on your wastegate that you put a picture of.
to recap, intake manifold to avc-r selenoid, avc-r selenoid to internal wastegate.
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS to determine exactly which of the ports is for what, as i don't feel like doing it.
Please remember to run a separate vacuum line to the map sensor for the avc-r and plug that into teh main harness.
