help w/ boost

Default help w/ boost

i'm running the greddy turbo kit at stock boost, should be at like 5-6 psi, but this morining i was getting 2 psi on my guage, and then this afternoon i was hitting 4 psi..... any ideas what could be wrong?? i checked all the vac lines and all the pipes

oh yeah i dont think its the weather ...

you might have boost leaking from somewhere check everything.

yeah i'm pretty sure i have a boost leak....i check all the vacum hoses...everything seems fine, what else should i check?

if you have a intercooler check if anything hit it and put a hole in it

if you have a intercooler check if anything hit it and put a hole in it
if the fins were damaged, would that affect the boost?? i'll check for holes in the morining but i dout thats it....

check your intake for any leaks to. the gasket can be broken and boost can leak through their

what can i use to check for boost leak? i heard there was something i can do or use, anyways intercooler is fine, vac lines are tight, intake is tight, this afternoon my guage was reading 0-1psi

What kind of boost gauge are you running? Can you feel the car losing boost? And is your actuator hooked up to the turbo or vacuum source?

Check your wastegate if you're running an external one and make sure its not leaking....

Check your BOV mounts..

thanks for the replys, its an autometer liquid filled guage, no its an internal wastegate, i got one of those leak testers from a friend, i'll run soapy water on all the lines tomorrow
