Default turbo problems???

I have been running 10 lbs of boost, recenlty i noticed that i dont have the same pull as usual, so i have been watching the boost gauge and i am hitting about 7-8 lb. i havent touched the manual boost controller. I looked for anything obvious and found nothing.

i know this stuff can be hard to diagnosis, but what are somethings you guys would check first?? thanks turbo guru's!
p.s. setup in signature and in my garage.

check the system for boost leaks. tighten up all your clamps.

did you try turning up the boost a lil to see if it holds back at 10psi.. other than that there is most likely a small leak somehwere.

With just a good eye and feeling couplers your should be able to find it. I also do mine with the car on and also listen.

Ahh found it, well kinda funny actually. I was messing with the couplers etc. couldnt find anything, well i kinda forgot which way i had my boost controller, hit 15 lb's on a run and boom! i was like ohh crap. Actually a good thing because i found the loose coupler, fixed it. i was hitting 9 lbs solid afterwards, just have to tune the boost controller again, no biggie, though.
