Default Boost problem

LS turbo... T3/t4
Tial 38


Just put on a Turbosmart Manual boost controller
Hits 11lbs then creaps back down....

whats the problem?

havent taken a look at it yet... just wanted some ideas

wow.. usually they creep up!

I'd check all your IC plumbing for leaks.. Sounds like when you get into boost, it may begin to leak past a coupling, and starts to drop off sealed boost pressure..

yea but it does fine at 7lbs.. dosent creap + or -

Ok, so between 7 and 11psi, that 4 extra psi could cause a coupler to leak/bleed off boost.
Check all your couplers, clamps, etc.. You really should see if one of your friend's might happen to have a boost leak tester.. With the car off, pressurize the intercooler plumbing and check for leaks.. That'd be my first step, if I were you.

edit: when it 'creeps back down', where does it steady off at, 7psi?

anywhere arround there.... now that i came back from being out... the car boost's 13 and then drops to like 4-7

but ima take alook in the moring.
