My buddy has a 1996 interga gsr with the 18g greddy kit. For some reason the car wont boost more than 5psi even after unhooking the wastegate from the vacum/boost line . Also we made a manual boost controler which had no effect on the boost. Shouldnt the turbo keep boosting above 5 psi when unhooked from vacum/boost line. Or do we need to adjust the nut on the arm of the turbo to rasie the boost?

 

with the wg unhooked it should boost infinitely. hows ur boost gauge set up and did you check to make sure there are no leaks in the piping and bov?

 

if your exhaust is really restrictive you might have problems building boost. otherwise check all the charge piping and connectors for leaks. You shouldn't have to mess with the actuator arm either.
