Ok here is the thing...at first I did not know how to fix the darn boost controller...so now I got it to work fine...i have the greddy sohc turbo kit for the civic. Now I turned the boost up on the boost controller but I am not getting any boost above 5psi...what am i doing wrong...I know the factory setting is set to 5.5 psi on this kit but I thought that with the boost controller I could bring it higher...so how do I raise the boost?

try turning up the balance *** to about 2 oclock( or higher)...select hi boost and turn the *** up until you get the desired boost level

 

ok i will try that...would this kit go past 5psi though?..even though the turbo is pre-set for 5psi would the boost controller allow it to go higher?

 

That's the point of a boost controller.

 

Ok...i will try the balance and get back with you guys to see if it works
