my new turbo jsut recently went out. and the people that rebuilt it are telling me that it went out b/cof the lack of oil. i know it had oil going to the turbo. but at the same time my downpipe comes off at a 90 degree angle and then drops down and stops there. would that hurt this new turbocharger at all???

 

no. you need to check your feed and return line for issues if the turbo was starved of oil. otherwise if you dont you put a newly rebuilt turbo in the same situation it is gonna die the same way.

 

see my old turbocharger was never starved of oil doe. when i switch over the new turbocharger i didnt mess with any oil lines. thats why i dont get it. even with the turbo off i can cranck my car and oil will go everywhere. see the lady told me that the bearings went out and that the wheels touched the housing. what do u think
