Hondata full throttle shift
How is it any different than when you keep the gas floored between shifts without hondata? also what are you guys doing about teh fuel cut rev limiter with hondata. I am sure that can be detrimental to a boosted car.
You set two rev limits with the hondata unit - one for with the clutch engaged and one that is lower for when the clutch is disengaged.
ex -
Clutch engaged rev limit - 9,000 RPM
Clutch disengaged rev limit - 5,000 RPM
That way you keep your foot planted on the gas, and when you slam in the clutch, revs drop to 5,000 RPM [or wherever you want] and keep you in the optimal part of your powerband, taking the throttle guess work out of it.

I've used the full throttle shift on an NA car, but never a boosted car, i'd fear that if the car was in boost, the fuel cut that hondata uses to set a lower revlimit for FTS would cause a serious lean condition!
Am i wrong in thinking that?

i thought it removed all the fuel from one cylinder, your a/f gauge will say you are lean, and you are, but thats because there isnt any fuel at all. you wont detonate without fuel. im pretty sure thats correct, but if im wrong somebody correct me

You're right.
