gt25 or gt28r for autocross? Which turbine AR?
So I have everything for my autocross/track only crx except the turbo. Will be going on a stock b16. Spool up time is important, I want instant power, but don't need tons of power. Figuring 250 whp would be perfect.
Anybody have a setup like this, which turbo and AR would you go with? I'm thinking gt28r with the .48 turbine AR???

Re: gt25 or gt28r for autocross? Which turbine AR? (rice is nice)
I suggest posting this question in the RR forum. The forced induction forum tends to focus on BIG HP numbers but, not so much on response.
From my experience you'd want a smallish turbo for an autocross. I would think the GT28R would be a good option for a B16.
I had the Apex'i kit on a D16 that did pretty well. Pretty quick spool. The turbo from the kit has been said to have similar performance to the GT28R. The B16 would spool it even quicker.
My $ .02

Re: (quicksilver1689)
see I think the gt2871r is gunna be too big, its rated for like up to 460 horse, whereas the GT2854R is rated from 170 to 270, i'm shooting for like 250 with good spool.
