GReddy Turbo Timer How-To on an Integra
Does anyone have any write ups on this? It's already in the car, but it burned out the ignition switch after being installed for a week. Obviously something isn't right. ANYONE?!!?
The actual ignition switch burned out in the ON position. So now the car will not turn off with out a toggle switch I installed (until I install a new factory ignition switch).
I'm worried the way I wired the timer is wrong.

Who put it on your car? Ever since Slick installed my Greddy TT, the fans will not come on (while the turbo timer is counting down), so I just have it for looks. If you get instructions, please forward them to me! Brandon.
Yeah, mine blew the ignition switch and did the same thing. No fans.
And the car sat for about an hour, over heated and cracked the ringlands.

have you tried the technical page on greddy's website to see if the install was correct? i installed the turbo timer on my hatch but can't remember offhand which wires go where. i'll see if i can find out my notes i had during the install.

Maybe you shouldn't have tried to run 14psi on an FMU and walbro pump? =P

Kinda hard to crack ring lands by overheating.

When I had it dynoed we had it hooked up to a four gas analyzer. No signs of detonation and I had an a/f ratio of 11.5:1. That's very much on the rich side of things. When we pulled the pistons apart there were no pot marks or other signs of detonation either.
i don't think ANY of the turbo timers will operate your fans the way that they normally run.
most turbo timer directions set you up to keep ACC and IGN1 on, and the fans are run off of IGN2..
