Install of ignition switch

i have a 90 CRX si. I just took out my faulty old ignition switch and put my new one in. Now the key wont turn. I've checked twice already to see if it was installed backwards and it wasn't. Any help please...

Was the ignition switch in the right postion when you installed it ?

Alright, ive bought a new switch and installed and got the key to turn and everything. Hooked it up but now wont start the car. There is no power when the key is in the ON position. CD player wont work, windshield wipers not working. The old switch had a kill switch wired into it, so i took out the entire alarm system to see if that had anything to do with it. Still nothing. I've checked all my connections, all fuses. Still no power. Any ideas?
