engine oil?
i know this topic has been talk about plenty of times and please dont flame me or banned my topic and trust me ive been searching, no luck. for years ive been using castrol 10w30 when i had my first car to my first ls swap in my civic to my stock ls/vtec turbo civic. at that time i never learn about oil that much till i had my first built bottomend motor. btw i got about 950miles on the block. when the block was getting built i was talking to my engine builder and ask him what will be the best oil to run and protect better form early breakdown. he told me two of the oil but he also told me used the oil that have the most two main additive. once i hit 1000miles i want to try 20w50 so it wont thin out fast. is there alot of guys out there use that weight........................
i figuer 20w50 should be use cause the turbo produces alot of heat and also high revs..

damn, I haven't back to texas since I was 17yrs old, how the weather...lol. I really want to use royal purple, how often do u change your oil, especially with that texas heat.....
gotch, another reason why I made this thread cause of the blue smoke coming out the exhause. when I noticed it I had about 365 miles on the block, so I had the compression and it was 220 across, the turbo is new and I had the valve seals replaced about 2 years ago. my return line is straight but I'm going get me a new one. also I'm going have a leakdown test. I hope valves seals are still good not to forget that I still have under 1000 miles, so maybe I'm still breaking it in. does anyone have that problem that they have to put alot of miles on the motor.
