wieght of oil to you on a turbo ls/v-tec
i was just wondering what wieght oil i should use with an oil cooled turbo ls/v-tec i just got done building this motor and i want to make sure that the oil is thick enough but not so thick that it doesn't properly lubricate due to the size of oil orfices.

Re: (Mr HYDE)
20w-50 is some thick ****, like mud. volkswagons use 20w-50.
ive used castrol gtx 10w-40 is all my turbo motors. when my ls was smoking some oil a while back, i put some lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer in with the oil and it really reduced the smokage.

Re: (blackeg)
I have a 85mm GE sleeved LS-V and am running 20w50 per them (they built it a little loose) Will probably run 10w40 when the kit goes on. Havent had any problems with the 20w50 though just let it warm up real good!
