Default Dyno Tuned 14b LS

Well after having to switch to OBD1 I finally got my car back from tuning

Setup:
B18A
OBD0-OBD1
DSM 450cc injectors
Crome Pro
XSpower manifold
14b Turbo
2.5" DP and 2.5 Crushbent exhaust
JRC FMIC w/ 2.25 crushbent hotside and 2.5 mandrel cool side IC piping
HKS bov

LS transmission
LSDmotorsports 6 puck & HDpp
OBX LSD

Thats about it.. Took the car down to the shop OBD0 w/ turboedit, but the tuner keep having glitches with the software. So he recommended me converting to OBD1 or I would be just wasting my money by trying to make turboedit to work right. So did the switch and he tuned the car for 1 hr and got these numbers. We didnt do anymore b/c I was maxing out my fuel above 6k(stock fuel pump ) So @ 8psi we got 216.18 HP & 197.82 FTlbs Pretty happy

Unfortunatly the car still still smokes underboost and is burning a little oil So I think the rings are starting to go, oh well 160k+ miles

good job

but perhaps the guy didnt know how to really use turboedit

he probably had problems maxing out the cells on turboedit because of the fuel multipliers, so he needed to change them and then he would have had more resolution

anyways, going OBD1 is good and gives you more opportunities

Yeah, your probably right. He mainly deals with CromePro. Oh well I had planned on converting eventually I guess sooner than I thought

Thanks guys, this setup is in my 89 dx hatchback. I lost track of how much money I had invested once I had to get a new clutch and the LSD I went pretty mild budget on everything(hint the 14b) but wanted to keep a good fuel managment. I had to buy a $250 new distributor also(couldnt find a used one) so that added up too. The OBX LSD seems to be holding up great. I went out and tested it some more just a while ago.(Two longgggggg darkies, the ebrake wouldnt hold it ) And yeah the stock wastegate spring is 8psi, it comes around 2500rpms(makes first and second fun)

Haha, yeah. Was hoping to tune it for 10psi maybe 12psi, but since it seemed to be maxing out already we couldnt get anymore. With the Walboro fuel pump I plan to at least turn it up to 10psi

Nice setup, given the price & power output - on a 15yr old engine!

I was poking my nose in another boosted Integra RS thread, mainly speaking my mind about overkill components for his setup. Needless to say, yours is WAY cheaper, makes more power, and spools 600rpm faster with supposedly worse head/cams/intake.

Anyways, any boosted street honda with good power for at least 3000 rpm gets a from me. Another for a quick spool time; it will only decrease when (not iff ) you get mandrel bends everywhere and a 3" dp.
