QUOTE]i don't know what he's using but with his set up those are the kinds of numbers you would see using 440's, 12:1 fmu, afc, and race fuel. the compression is definitely causing him to have to run those boost levels in order to make those numbers. obviously, with a stand alone and higher compression you would make more power @ those boost levels.[/QUOTE]

is that possible tu run 20 psi whit an 12:1fmu (55+240psi=290psi )

seriously i dont use ems , hondata or whatever high pressure fuel system
tuning is all about fuel,air,timing
you wanna know more just pm me!

throu i know i can a do better whit my setup
ex:adding .2 compression=10whp+-,bigger turbo 60-1 compressor=15whp+-,more efficiency cooler=15whp=385+40=425whp @20psi est.
TurbotypeR made 440whp@23psi using a 60-1 compressor & 9:1 piston
so i guess im happy whit does number

i ran 21 lbs on a similar set up w/ small trim t3/4 turbo. made 360+ to the wheels.

ok say 1 car running 9:1 CR and another car is running 10:1 CR

say the one with 9:1 making 350whp , how much power will the one with 10:1 CR making ?

I don't know the exact number but if all the variables remain constant (boost, parts etc..), the 10:1 CR will make more then the 350whp.

It's all about the static vs.s effective compression ratio... running higher compression and lower boost is ALMOST equivalent to lower compression and higher boost, though you can fit more air into the cylinder with boost and ultimately make more powerl. The down side to this, especially on the street, is that lower compression takes longer to spool up. You can figure out your effective compression ratio and then make an appoximation of what kind of horsepower increase you'd make...I don't recall it off of the top of my head, but it's something like:
static compression * (14.7psi + boostpsi)/14.7psi...

the cool thing is that if you look at the actual density of air in the cylinder, you always get a little more with boost, as opposed to compression. I hope that makes some sense...it's late

depend on manny factor but lets say your setup@15 psi make 310whp im guessing 30-40whp can be made whit 10:1 compression
