Default Turbo ITR with hack dyno numbers

it is a greddy 18G kit with the hack at 11psi with inline pro HG and block gaurd

230whp 192wtq. the AF ratio is really really rich at top end (under 10:1 from 7500rpm's up) from 6000rpm up the HP curve is almost flat and stays very close to the peak HP the torque curve is pretty flat from 3500 to 6000 but then starts to fall off. I know with tuning it can make 250+whp at that boost if I can lean it out up top a bit and I was really happy with the torque it made. 192.5wtq is the exact number and seems pretty high for the HP I made. well let me know what you guys think

Impressive.

Question: How thick is the headgasket you're using?

I'm going to be running a similar setup to yours engine preparation wise. I'm trying to get a 1.27mm headgasket to lower the compression down to a turbo friendlier 10.0:1. Stock Bottom end and GSR camshafts. I hope I can make as much as yours. Nice numbers.

Comments:

1. That number seems low for an ITR motor
2. 11 psi on a 11:1 CR? How much retard are you running?
3. I'd be careful leaning it out, even with 94 octane!

Keep tuning!

Nice, I'm sure your having fun with your ITR!

I will say 10:1 is silly rich and youre loosing alot there.

not to be a dick but this is what you could've done & seen.

ITR206's stock block ITR W/HONDATA @ 8PSI made 293whp.

you spent $100 on the gasket $300 on the AFC, for an extra couple bux you coulda had a stand alone.

ohh well I'm not trying to **** on your #'s though, have fun!

I hope he's not running JDM pistons to achieve that 11.1:1 compression ratio. I mean, I know it can be done...but that's pushing it without any real engine management. Stock USDM ITR motors are 10.6:1 compression.

The amount of psi does not automatically equal whp. There's turbo efficiency and intercooler efficiency that comes into play. Plus, if that's all he's running, that's quite impressive. No upgraded injectors or upgraded fuel pump.

the headgasket is 3mm thick and will drop compression to about 9:1-9.5:1. talk to inline pro about it. http://www.inlinepro.com

the car is runnin sick rich now so it needs leaned more. it is pretty much flooding itself from 7500rpms up. the timing is set at stock and I use 93-94 octane in it.
the numbers are low but the chart shows that the HP levels off at 6500 or so and that is where the ECU starts to throw fuel at it. the af ratio stays about 10.5:1 from 5500 to 6500 then dips to 10:1 at 7000 and slowly creeps into the high 9:1 range from 7500 up

no doubt man his numbers are sick but you have to remember his turbo is bigger and more effiecient than mine. if I remember right my torque and his torque are pretty close for the difference in HP we make.

my block is stock except for the HG and block gaurd here is the rest of my set up:
greddy 18g and manifold
custom 2.5" DP
450cc injectors
255lph fuel pump
vafc
profec-b for boost control

the fuel pump is making it have 60psi at idle on fuel presure and that will make it in the low 70psi at wot so I need to lower the presure and see what happens

you got some good tq numbers but with some tuning you should jump up 30-40 hp easily

that is what I was thinking. my goal on the way it is set up now is between 260-280whp and a bit over 200wtq....I think I can do it with some tuning

I think your next investment should be a real fuel management system.

Sorry, didn't know you dropped your CR that far... yea, lean it out if you can, you should see some power there. Be careful though if you haven't taken any timing out...

Some people have made mad power 290+ with the hack, hell ,it sounds like you have enough injector if you are dipping into 9:1 A/F.

You might want to try playing with cam gears, if you have them, the ITR cam has alot of overlap. Might help the top end Hp.

I want to get the AF taken care of first. since the HP curve flattens so early it seems like the fuel it flooding it, but the HP curve doesn't really fall off at all. that is why I think if I tune the fuel I could pull some decent power out of the car and then I want to start messing with the cam gears and see what I can do with them. either way I do it (like you said) I have enough fuel for over 300whp so I am good to go with some tuning

No with the hack you have to run 370-450cc injectors cause you don't use a FMU
