what it does on the track is THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS. a dyno sheet is meaningless for the most part.

well a dyno sheet is meaningful from his part because he is trying to use it to his business' advantage. Understandable, but it kinda backfired on him.

To everyone else that builds their own cars. E.T. is what counts and what wins wallys

That is a very true statement and why some of us have yet to even get our cars onto a dyno

Yep, that is correct! I am not makin a boatload of HP in my car. Jasons CRX is not making alot of power in the crx, brian is in the same position. The right combination of pwer and traction is what makes a car go fast. Ill tell you one thing, I stand by my word that that car better trap at least 150mph... 2600lbs or whatever it is..

Just need a bigger turbo and fuel..... why did'nt anyone else think of that
I can make a dyno plot spit out what ever I want, please do not patronise with comments like that. Put that car on a dynojet .... out of oregon, and we shall see what it makes. Truth of the matter if I made 800 hp my car would be at the track the next day. Why do you think we have a problem? 200 extra ponies out of a set up similar to what most people have on this board, I do not care if the hair dryer is
a t100, or uncle pappies diesel turbo. It is extremely abnormal, is that is why it is so hard to belive. Jason</TD></TR></TABLE>

Have him bring the car down to Matrix Engineering in Portland Oregon and have it dynoed. They also have a mustang dyno that would be a good comparision to see how accurate there numbers are.

http://www.matrixengineering.cc Good bunch of guys there. I bought some flanges from them not too long ago. I wanted them to do my intercooler piping, but they were pretty busy with projects.

I don't want to get involved in a he said she said type of conversation, but it seems like you guys are trying to discredit this guys efforts at making some good whp on the dyno. With the whp it tells you what to expect with your car once it goes down the track. Its no rear wheel drive car and yes he is going to have a hard time putting the power to the ground, but thats niether here nor there. If the car never made that power thats one thing but there is a video and dyno sheet for proof. So let the man do his thing, and once he has results from the track then you can fire away. Kinda seems like premature ejaculation from what I am reading. It seems like anytime someone has a killer dyno plot with no track numbers, they are **** all. I say mad props man, your **** must fly. May the force be with you.

Nice Hp figures but curious if anyone thinks the tq is way off?? I made 420ft lbs before under 600hp and that was with a 1.8L. this is a 2.0L. any ideas jinx?? I have learned also the hard way that Hp is the easy part. its getting it to the ground and getting the car to 1320 in 1 piece. Frank from SFP made 740whp and he breaks 1/2 shafts like its going out of style.

mike how much boost did it take you to make 420ft lbs torque. On 30psi my buddy's SC63 just put out 409ft-lbs on a 1.9L, basically the same set up you had except w/ a JG intake manifold. did u think 440tq was too high or not enough?
