Default driving to get it tunned... advice so it doesnt blow!

ok, i took out the 1000cc injectors cause i was sick of trying to tune them and failing... so i put the stock ones back in... now i have read that people have driven there setups around out of boost for a while without problems... if im easy with it i should be ok right? is it safe to take out the wastegate spring or unhook the charge pipe and hook up an air filter? thanks guys...

oh, if i leave all the turbo stuff hooked up and run it with the stock injectors... if i were to rev it up in neutral is it possible to see boost or would this hurt the engine? cause i would like to check to see if i have any leaks in the charge pipes and what not...

just dont boost it if you are unsure.
You can always take the spring out.
I wouldnt do the other things though.

if you didn't hit boost, I drove my car without hitting any boost for 2 weeks, should have just taken the spring out

Drove mine with stock ECU and injectors over 200 miles to be tuned, and it was fine - Drive it easy and keep it out of boost and it will be fine

i drove for like 2 months withoug going into boost.
why would you want to boost in neutral?
Unless you are on a 2step or something it wont build boost

you should socket that p28 and use uberdata or chrome to turn off the o2

i drove 3hrs to my tuner and the car ran fine, just dont go into boost, it's not hard. I also drove it this way on stock injectors and map for 2 mths with no boost, car ran fine.

You can run ok on your stock ecu.

then you should be safe

don't run the stock ecu.. Use your uber, that way you DO have boost fuel tables. I'm running my stock injectors right now cus my 750's wouldn't run for ****. I can actually boost a bit.. And my a/f's are golden. Just don't go revin it to 8 grand, or 6 for that matter. And forget building boost in neutral, and don't deny it, you wanted a neutral rev blow off

If your real worried, its super easy for the car not to build boost, the driver on the other hand..

don't worry, have fun :D
