Re: noob question- (Civic@7psi)
you can use a boost controller and up the boost that way
I recommend the Turbo XS manual boost controller. http://www.ks-motorsports.com carries them.

Re: noob question- (Civic@7psi)
to my knowledge, there's no way to adjust an external wastegate spring. the boost controller is the proper way to up the boost.
9 psi will be alright, as long as you have the car tuned very well with a standalone unit such as Hondata. there's no safe psi, people blow engines at 0 psi, it's all about using your knowledge to make more power and have a reliable set-up.

and I recommend switching that deltagate out for a TiAL 35mm instead. the deltagates are known to allow boost creep/spikes, resulting in a possibly blown engine.

i think you can you tighten the screw on a deltagate for more boost, but don't go over 7 psi until you're using a standalone.

Re: noob question- (Teg4e)
Nobody in Boise can tune Hondata, but Idaho Speed Center can tune with the GReddy or AEM systems. Would these be OK to use as standalones and boost to 10psi? Thanks!
