Drivibality problems, boosted d16, please help!
Here a quick rundown of my setup.
D16A1
Chipped PM6
16g turbo
DSM 450cc injectors
Stock fuel system
This is the probolem. When I start the car, sometimes it will cold idle (1500-2000rpm) other times it will try to idle at 700rpm and stall. When I give it a hard pull and let off the gas it will someytimes stall. When I let it idle for a while it will sometimes misfire then raise the idle back up. Its a very inconsistent problem. I pulled my plugs and theyre all running rich but one was soaked in a black liquid (not sure if its fuel or oil) Also the car smokes quite a bit, it looks like rich burning exhaust smoke, and it gets about 15 mpg, even when driven lightly. Any ideas?

Ta hell with that. Get us some compression/leak down numbers!

there is a reason he would even have to go that far. sounds like an injector is hanging up. and a compression and leakage test wont show that, but i do understand where you are coming from. if there were catastrophic engine failure. but this sounds like a fuel delivery issue.

i can get it on a wideband.
Leakdown showed 5-8%, although the cylinder with the highest leakdown is also the cleanest burning.
I know the engine isnt in great shape but it shoudlnt stall :S
I am goign to remove the fuel rail and clean the injectors, ill let you know if it makes a diference.
It smokes so bad on the highway, its usually the worst when letting off the gas then pressing it (TPS enrichment?)

He says his one plug is covered in a black liquid. I would assume its oil mixed with carbon, but if thats not a reason to run a compression/leakdown test to you then so be it.

the car will not idle, it is getting 10-15 miles to a gallon, my car with 750's got 22-25 out of boost. it isnt a call either way, but with the symptoms that he gave there was no call to call the engine terminal.
with the description given, atleast i would assume a fueling issue. because of the stalling, the BLACK not blue smoke, and the shitty fuel mileage, i would go into a fuel delivery problem first. then worry about the engine being hurt or not.
i see this all the time on lexus's with ripped fuel pressure regs, causing the plugs to drip black from fuel, black smoke on accel, stalling at lights, yadda yadda yadda. it is a pain in the *** to do a compression test on a front drive ES300 so there is no call for it..
i think you are going into it way too far with your diagnostics thats all.

I cleaned the injectors. they were not dirty at all. Although one of them had a broken pintle. I searched and read this isnt a major problem though.
I also did a comp test. 170 in all 4.
The car does smoke blue but I think its from the turbo seals because theres oil all over my compressor housing and exhaust housing. However, I also read that worn rings will cause a turbo to leak oil past its seals because of blowby not letting the oil drain from the turbo to the pan.
I replaced the valve seals not too long ago, because I thought that woudl be the problem. But when I did them, I got some felpro ones from lordco. they were not makred intake/exhaust so I assumed they were the same. Woudl mixing up the valve seals cause it to have shitty idle and oil burning problems? All the seals looked the same so I assumed they were both intake/exhaust seals.
When I pulled my plugs today, I noticed an oily substance on the threads.
