Default do i need to notch the block with tuner toys rods?

i just bought some tuner toys rods........for my d16.....i have read that the old rods needed the block notched, but i heard the new ones don't........and i was comparing the old rods and it doesnt look like i would need to, does any1 knw the answer? thanks i appreciate

you heard wrong.

all h beams rods require block notching in d series motors, plain and simple

Thanks Ryan, you are correct.

Here is a link to the rods in question. We have them for D, B, and H Honda Engines. Tuner Toys H Beam Rods

Block notching is easy, anyone with a die grinder / Dremel Tool can do it. Here are a couple of links to show you how easy it is.
