Default block clearencing

so i heard from a buddy; who has a little more experience than me, that you do not have to clearence a b series block for h beam rods. Is this true? If not then do i have to pull out the little oil squirt things that sit at the bottom of the sleeve to have that done, or will the machinist do that for me? feel free to pm me with answers. thanks guys.

your buddy was right. Most aftermarket rods do not need any notching to accommodate H or I beam Rods. Custom rods are a different story. Some All Motor THICK rods may need to be clearance but its highly unlikely.
