no, not really. email tial with the srial number on your wastegate (on the top) and ask them if they know what psi spring it was sold with

If ur targetting 14-18 psi of boost u dont need the apex boost controller it depends what size spring is in ur wastegate try to keep the spring size at 14 psi all u need is a turbo XS manual boost controller is simplicity makes it easy to controll boost rather than the apex digital boost controller because its to complicated to use cuz i use to own one

^what?? The problem with going straight spring and mbc is that it doesnt allow for the holding capabilitites that ebc has, like holding the valve completely closed until the desired psi is reached. EBC's offer a more extreme boost ramp and overshoot and stabilization control

it's not a matter of it holding boost, its a matter of how quickly peak boost is acheived, an ebc will always make peak boost quicker than an mbc

well, it was the first evc hks ever made, so it was really really really old. that andyou got it for 70 bucks
I was just asking for trouble. But it EBC are nice because they are mounted right in the car and you can play with them. But don't get to boost happy now. Electronics just don't like my dad. I am going to try it in the civic soon enough. Damn 16G wastegate.
