Compressor surge...
D15B7 on 7psi, from 0-3 or so psi it flutters when i let off, but 6 or 7 psi the bov blows off then still flutters. Brand new Turbo XS BOV and new vacuum lines. Any ideas?
No washers in it. Spring be too hard maybe? And why would it surge after blowing off, spring too hard to keep open and dump everything out?

you actually need pressure to open it. if the pressure out of the piping isnt enough to overcome the spring pressure, you will get a little surge.
if it is only that low, i wouldnt worry. i have the biggest spring in my tial, just to make sure it stays shut, mine surges at low boost too.

when it blows off there is good pressure, as it blows off, there goes the pressure, out the valve. until there isnt enough to keep the valve open. if it is doing it at that low of boost only, dont worry about it.
