The former owner put 3 vents in the hood due to heat. (Arizona)
1 of the vents is still visible on thehood.
The other two which were the same size are being used for the dumps and up pipe.

Where the hell were y'all two months ago.

I tried contacting the machine shop that I had assemble the
Entire engine but they are closed today.
It isn't that big of a deal for me to pull the whole thing apart and undo there
Mistakes. BUT... I'm going to be looking for a full refund even tho no damage was done. I paid them about 1200 (machine & assembly)
Think it's going to happen?

I wouldn't touch it at all and show them the pics. If they installed the pistons backwards do you really trust all your clearances and oil pump condition, cleanliness of the entire assembly?

You're in a tough spot here.

Whatever you do don't let theshodan convince you its you're mistake..

That's exactly what I was just explaining to a friend
That usually helps me assemble. He says no big deal just rip it apart
And take it back. I'm like hell no. Ever since I got in the racing, every shop I've ever been to, I've had problems with.
IMO I need a full refund because I can't trust any clearances, have to re buy all new gaskets and have to put in double the amount of wrench time.

You brought them all the parts and just assembled it for you?
1200 for labor? Jeezus

This is also why I do all my own work. Shops are shady.

What's the shops name?

I honestly only saw the post yesterday, sorry, but it likely saved you a pile of money. It's better to lose time pulling it all apart than smacking and breaking a valve on the dyno.
