Check Engine light - code 67
I have gotten used to riding with this freakin light on all the time now. I reset it everynow and then for shiznit and giggles. But really though, anyone knows how to get rid of this check engine error code?
For those of you that do not know...code 67 means you either have on of these problems:
(1) Secondary 02 sensor problem
OR
(2) Catalytic Converter problem
Well people, I have 1998 GSR with no cat. I have replaced the cat with a 2.5" flex pipe. To deal with this bull$hit CEL, I tried to hotwire my ecu by having the secondary O2 read off of the primary O2 but this only worked for like 3 days. The freakin ECU is really smart and compensated. It even freaks out on my S/AFC everynow and then but that is a separate issue.
So after that rewiring job, I have just been dealing with it for a year now.
Is anyone going through this crap because you have no cat?
