Probably too rich if you didn't change anything else.

That's what I was worried about. Would 10:1 work or should I go with 8:1

The problem with FMU with larger injectors is that at zero boost or low boost modes, you are running too much fuel. The FMU Provies way too much fuel pressure. I"m surprised your car idles correctly and runs correctly at off boost as well.

Well the FMU makes no difference at 0 boost. Hence 12:1, 12 psi of fuel per 1 psi of boost.

I've heard most people use 440's with the VAFC hack. I"ve seen many have success with this setup without an FMU @ around 10psi but I understand that you wanna go higher than that.

Just remember that if you use small injectors and use an FMU, the injectors have a tendancy build up more heat due to the fact that they have to open up against large amounts of pressure.

If you have the cash, you should try to invest into a hondata. The basemaps are decent and there are a few people in phx that can help you tune your car. If you have a wideband 02 sensor and meter, you can easily street tune the car yourself.

I"ve seen your car parked over at the restuarant on speedway, its pretty nice

Thanks for the info and praise. The car need a lot more work but all in due time. I am back to my stock injectors and it runs okay. Way better than with the 310's. I and a few other in town seem to think they may be bad so I need to swap with some known good ones or get them tested. I bought them used from someone on this board but I do not wish to disclose his name yet until I get some more info on the injectors.

from what i read, 310s are too small for the AFC alone. I believe with the 440s on AFC< people were getting the CEL around 10-11psi. That would mean with the 310s, you wouldn't be able to run much boost at all, maybe 6psi max. best bet is to do 440cc with the AFC. Good luck.

if your gonna stick with the fmu .... stick with your stock injectors and the 12:1 disc + get yourself an inline fuel pump....you'll be running rich, but you'll be running......OR get some RC 440's and/or DSM 450cc's with OBD1 clips + resistor box and run the HACK method with the SAFC/VAFC......OR get yourself a standalone....HONDATA/EMS/PFC for starters......get that son o' biotch tuned if your going the second or third method

why do peopel keep calling the DSM blue top injectors 440? i bought mine off ebay and they were listed as 450cc and im looking at the injector right now and each injector says 450 on them. my friend also got his off ebay and they say 450 as well. another thing i noticed were that if u get 4 injectors off the same car each one has the same number on them. lik all 4 of mine say 919 and each one of my freinds say 905 so u can tell if u got all the injectors from the saem car or if any have been switched out.
